It optimises engine performance
at every rpm and distinguishes itself for the innovative lubricating system. The sliding of the variator improves functionality and insures longer life. The external surface ensures maximum friction to the transmission's belt so that traction is always constant. The semipulley is die-cast in aluminium and of a high silicon concentration. The bigger amplitude of the roller allows better acceleration when starting and higher maximum speed thanks to the better power output. The transmission's belt adherence is bigger because the external surface has not been treated. The casehardened and tempered steel pin is chromed, its external surface is ground and lapped; any friction with the speed control is therefore minimized. The rollers are made of a thermoplastic resin, which guarantees long use with minimal wear. Rollers are available in a series of various weights (starting from the original) for a better personalisation of the variator. These rollers have different colours to distinguish the weights even after long use. |
